Today, e-mail is considered part of your company's critical documents.  More and more business is conducted via e-mail and it becomes cumbersome to have to search e-mail archives for needed correspondence.  It is even more time consuming to print them out and file them manually. Since e-mail is an electronic document, why not file in your Aquarius document management system?

Automatic Filing and Indexing

AQ-Mail is designed to monitor an Outlook or Exchange folder and import e-mail into Aquarius automatically.  Aquarius can capture the To, From, CC, Subject, Date, e-mail body, and attachments.  In addition AQ-Mail stores the entire e-mail as a .msg file which contains all the internal meta-tags and opens exactly as if it were opened in Outlook.

 Utilize Outlook Rules

Outlook has a complete set of rules that can help further automate the classification of e-mails that you want to save.  By using these rules you can further automate the storage of e-mail that you need to keep as a company record.  You can also manually drag and drop e-mails that you want to store into the monitored folder.

 Customized Indexing

Through Aquarius scripting, additional rules can be applied to filing the e-mails through over 100 commands.  For instance, if you forward e-mails to a monitored folder, you can populate the subject field in the forwarded e-mail with additional index information for use in Aquarius.  Lets say the e-mails needs to files into a specific customers file, simply add the customers name in the forwarded subject field and it will be picked up by Aquarius and filed in the customers folder.
