AQFile takes advantage of multifunction copiers by splitting the processes of indexing and scanning in a unique way.  Using AQFile, you can index your documents right at your desk throughout the day.  At the end of the day, drop the entire stack onto your multifunction copier, and AQFile will marry the index data you entered with the scanned documents and move them into Aquarius automatically.

How is this possible?  When a document index is entered, a unique barcode label (or cover sheet) is printed and applied to the beginning of each document.  After scanning, AQFile reads the barcode value to identify the document and match it to the indexes you entered earlier.  It's that simple.
